DPP Membership & Tech Leaders Briefing

11.11.2019

Broadcast Media Technology Recruitment and Project Capabilities Specialists Caspian One… have joined the Digital Production Partnership (DPP).

Today we’re excited to announce that Caspian One have signed up as members to the DPP - in a move to open up the challenges of diversifying technology skillsets in the media and broadcast technology sector.

The DPP brings together over 400 of the Broadcast industry’s top companies in one place, to share intelligence, discuss projects requiring the latest technologies… and explore the shifts in strategy that businesses are experiencing along the way.

Phil Hodgetts, Head of Strategic Accounts at Caspian One, is the driving force behind our proactive work with broadcasters and services providers; with a focus on understanding and overcoming the resourcing needs for current and upcoming projects.

Commenting below on this DPP membership:

“Caspian One has a proven track record from the last 15 years, supporting Media and Broadcast businesses to keep ahead of the skills requirements in the industry, enabling our clients to deliver complex technology projects. Joining the DPP is an excellent opportunity for us to engage with industry leaders and really understand the gaps impacting delivery of broadcast technologies, now and in the future.

Not only that, but membership to the DPP will also give us the platform to really get to grips with future technology trends, which will inform us and make sure we know who the right people are across the technology landscape… and who can partner with us to deliver for our clients.”

We are attending the DPP’s next event, ‘DPP Tech Leaders’ Briefing’ - on the Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th November 2019, which includes speakers from organisations such as Channel 4, ITV, Discovery and AWS.

With technology ever changing, the freelancer marketplace is invaluable if we want to ensure resources are available that can deliver these very challenging projects. Caspian One recognise this and have been working with clients to assist in the discovery phase of projects; to effectively plan the utilisation of capabilities with specific milestones and deliverables which allow for successful delivery.
