Senior Broadcast IT Engineer

This job has been filled.

I am currently working with a global leader in Sports and live entertainment events, who are looking to add to their ever-expanding Broadcast engineering team.

Staging hundreds of the world’s greatest live events each year, from the Premier League to the New York Fashion week, there will never be a dull moment once you become part of the family.

We are looking to bring in a Senior engineer to work alongside the team manager – someone with strong working knowledge of media asset management (MAM) systems, preferably VizOne. The successful candidate will be someone who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and be hands on support to the team and the systems but is also capable of providing training and mentoring to the junior team members, when needed.

Essential skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of MAM support
  • Linux experience – Command line or higher
  • Basic understanding of VMM/Hyper-V/VMware
  • Previous experience of working with Tape Libraries

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, eager to share their knowledge and driven to succeed. Preferably someone with strong organisational skills, who can prioritise and plan their work effectively, with the ability to stay focussed during pressurised situations.

Strong communication skills are a must, as documentation and process writing will be make up a small part of the role.

A CCNA or equivalent would be advantageous.

In return, we will offer a competitive compensation package, 24 days holiday, pension and medical cover. As well as the chance to grow your knowledge and work with some of the newest technology available.
