A rare opportunity to build a NOC operations team “from scratch” for a new facility – we are keen to speak to candidates who are skilled in people-development & training in an MCR, NOC or Playout Operations environment, particularly if you are in a team lead or supervisory position and looking for the next step in your career. My client is a multi-million pound European Media business with over 500 satellite broadcast and OTT services - their new Network Operations Centre will be responsible for technical operations including problem management, service management, incident management, KPI reporting and process improvement.
This is a new role in a new NOC and will have responsibility for hiring, training & managing a team of operators who have no prior media industry experience. Candidate profiles should include:
Excellent communicator – at all levels
Strong proven experience of hiring & developing [trainees]
A skilled leader with people development and management methodologies & processes
Previous experience in a NOC, MCR or Playout Centre – essential
Understanding of content distribution flows video & network issues, video distribution technology – preferred/essential
Higher level technical competency advantageous
