Nordic Sales Manager

My client provide global video solutions across satellite DTH, cable, telco and OTT operators, content owners and broadcasters. These solutions include security, CDN, encoding & mulitplexing and have recently been provided to the market as a cloud variant. They are currently growing a new EMEA divison to address increasing demand for these cloud solutions. 

 

Role Description

This is your chance to join the EMEA sales team for a new division with responsibility for sales across the Nordic territory. The division has a massive installed base of DCMs and other video plane solutions and these customers are rapidly transforming their operations to cloud and virtualized environments. My client has the full suite of public and private cloud software to enable this transformation, and it will be your responsibility to drive that transformation with many of the biggest and most influential customers in the industry.

 

You will be joining, and dynamic and innovative team fully focused on the transformation of video processing. With dedicated sales, product management, R&D, and delivery; you and Video Networks will have the focus and the vision to aggressively dominate this market.

 

Responsibilities;

 

  • With a wide network in the Scandinavian TV & Media sector you will quickly identify market opportunities and utilizing your virtual team, bring those opportunities to fruition.
  • Delivering on a an evolved “Go to Market” plan, utilizing all different sales channels in including direct and indirect sales.  
  • Penetrating key new accounts and developing new long-term relationships.
  • Utilise a exisiting network of contacts across the Nordics.

 

Personal Attributes

  

  • Demonstrate a solid track record of sales involving complex deals across the Nordic region
  • Execute on your growth strategy, successfully position our solutions in the identified markets and projects to win the business and secure customer loyalty.
  • In depth video market experience including a good technical and business understanding of solutions like Cable, Telco, Satellite, OTT technology and architectures including Video Processing, Packaging, Cloud DVR, CDN and relevant cloud technologies.
  • A Scandinavian language as a mother tongue, fluent in English.
